Ciekawą informacją jest, że to pierwszy hattrick gracza United przeciwko Liverpoolowi od 64 lat. Tak więc Berbatov zapisuje się na kartach historii, bo raczej nieprędko się taki wynik powtórzy. Chyba, że na wyjeździe strzeli im 4 bramki.
