Thanks for your reply.

Looking into this further I noticed that the servers load was pretty high
and likely the cause of the slowness.

I alerted the data center people and they were able to bring that servers
load down and will continue to keep an eye on it.

If this issue persist, we can move your databases onto a different
database servers, just let us know if its okay to proceed.
